Situation
Each year, a major Fortune 25 healthcare company conducts a pulse survey to measure employee engagement. With scores leveling off and employee retention of concern, leadership asked Roberts Golden to develop a program and online resource for management to use to positively influence employee engagement. The primary objectives were to build more effective teams, increase engagement (both higher survey scores and overall increased engagement), improve retention (particularly in their distribution centers) and support managers in creating a great work place.
Action
Through a series of working sessions with key members of Human Resources and select Business Units, Roberts Golden assessed the current gaps in addressing employee engagement and identified what managers want and need in relation to influencing employee engagement.
