Senior Change Management / Organizational Development Consultant (Full-time and/or Contract)
Roberts Golden is a boutique consulting firm based in San Francisco that specializes in helping companies drive greater employee engagement and organizational performance.
Our work spans across many different situations and scenarios. Just a few examples include managing across-enterprise change efforts for high profile mergers and acquisitions, aligning employees with the corporate brand promise, helping companies to increase their leadership's capabilities and supporting employees in their transition to new roles after large-scale IT implementations or corporate reorganizations.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our small but growing company with a focus on organizational development and change management solutions.
As a growing company, we need someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit and is ready to take the initiative for helping to build the brand and business. It’s challenging but rewarding and is a good fit for someone who loves variety and playing a lead role in all aspects of the business.
Of course our clients come first so this individual’s primary focus is the delivery and management of large-scale change efforts for them.
Responsibilities
It’s important in candidates’ previous experience that they have led the following types of activities preferably in large global organizations:
- Designing and conducting organizational readiness assessments
- Developing change strategies and plans
- Facilitating clients through stakeholder analysis
- Facilitating stakeholder alignment on a common vision
- Developing and executing solutions in communications, training, process modeling and performance management.
Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Managing projects and resources for various client engagements
- Leading internal initiatives and assisting with ongoing business development and client management
- Developing and facilitating workshops and webinars for clients and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Ability to develop excellent credibility and rapport with people at all organizational levels
- Takes initiative – doesn’t always wait for direction
- Exemplary facilitation, analytical and project management skills
- Ability to assess and manage client expectations
- Ability to work in team environments as well as independently
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic with commitment to high quality and customer focus
- Ability to oversee and direct the work of others on projects
- Experience in developing brand strategy for companies is desirable
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years experience in leading and developing change management and organizational development strategies and solutions for large global organizations
- Undergraduate degree in related field is required
- MBA, MS, MA or PhD degree in related fields preferred
- A combination of consulting and in-house corporate experience is strongly preferred – many of our consultants have prior experience at Big Four consulting firms or large global HR consultancies
- Strong work ethic with commitment to high quality and customer focus
- Ability to develop credibility and rapport with people across all organizational levels – with a down to earth style (don’t take themselves too seriously)
- Willingness to travel (typically very limited travel)
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must reside in San Francisco Bay Area (no relocation provided)
